- always wash our hands before eating
- avoid milk and fruit juices that are unpasteurized
- eat food soon after they have been cooked
- rinse and scrub raw food
- reheat leftovers thoroughly before serving
- use separate chopping board
- keep our kitchen clean
- know the possible symptoms that indicate food poisoning- vomiting, diarrhea, fever
