The development of our country makes our tradition slightly fotgotten day by day,especially by the younger generations. With the set up of the Yayasan Tuanku Nur Zahirah (YTNZ), we hope that this is the perfect way in order to maintain our traditional art and crafts,for instance,songket,that is one of our precious crafts. Women and teenagers are exposed to skills about songket . Besides, YTNZ will help to increase the income for under-privilleged communities. This is also the best way to intoduce our tradition to foreigners as the songket are also exported to other country.
